Solevo Group is pleased to announce a Distributor Agreement with The Lubrizol Corporation, a science-based specialty chemical company with global reach and local presence. Signed on June 8, 2026, the agreement appoints Solevo as authorized distributor of Lubrizol’s industrial fluid solutions across 16 African countries — Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania and Tunisia.
A Natural Partnership for African Markets
This partnership brings together Lubrizol’s technical expertise and innovative product portfolio with Solevo’s pan-African distribution platform, local market presence and in-country technical teams — delivering the kind of solutions African industry increasingly needs: technically advanced, locally available and backed by real field support.
This is also a partnership grounded in shared values — that local relevance and global standards strengthen each other. Lubrizol’s approach to sustainability centers on embedding environmental responsibility into innovation, and its strategy is built on delivering solutions designed for local relevance and global excellence. Solevo brings that same conviction to its role as a distribution platform: a commitment to higher-quality, more sustainable specialty chemical solutions, backed by in-country technical expertise and genuine proximity to customers.
“We are pleased to partner with Lubrizol and believe this collaboration creates a strong platform for growth across Africa. By combining Lubrizol’s technical expertise and innovative solutions with Solevo’s extensive market presence, distribution capabilities and local technical expert teams across the continent, we are well positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and accelerate the development of our business together. »

World-Class Products, Local Availability
Through this agreement, Solevo will distribute and promote Lubrizol’s portfolio of specialty fluid engineering solutions under the EMKARATE™, LUBRIZOL™ and PARATHERM™ brand families, covering formulated industrial fluids, refrigeration lubricants, heat transfer fluids, system cleaners and air and gas compressor lubricants.
Emkarate™ RL is Lubrizol’s flagship range of synthetic polyol ester lubricants for refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, developed for use with HFC refrigerants and backed by broad OEM approvals. Paratherm™ adds a well-established range of heat transfer fluids and system cleaners for demanding industrial environments.
Backed by Lubrizol’s global formulation expertise, these are highly technical, niche-market products. For Solevo’s customers across Africa, it means they can now source these products locally, with technical support on the ground.
Customers seeking to procure Refrigeration Lubricants, Heat Transfer Fluids and Air and Gas Compressor Lubricants are welcome to contact Solevo directly.
